THE POETTO BEACH
Poetto (Poetu in Sardinian) is the main beach di Cagliari which extends for approximately twelve kilometers, from Saddle of the Devil to the beginning of the coast of Quartu San' Elena where it takes the name of Quartu beach (or Poetto di Quartu). The beach in its extension, which goes from Marina Piccola to Margine Rosso, extends for about seven and a half kilometers between the territory of Cagliari and Quartu Sant' Elena. Poetto is an important tourist resort and one of the main places of the summer nightlife of the city and of the large area.
